Join BAA member Jeanne Kipke in making create a beautiful small work of art using the ancient art of metalpoint!
Did you know that many artist apprentices centuries ago were expected to master drawing with metalpoint before being allowed to paint?
Jean will begin with a brief introduction to metalpoint plus the opportunity to create your very own metalpoint drawing!
An $8.00 materials fee includes a homemade copper drawing utensil, 6×6” wood & glass frame and paper primed for metalpoint.
We will provide a collection of still life objects to draw, however you may bring your own items, photos or images to use as subjects for your metalpoint art.
Pre-pay for Workshop Materials ($8 includes frame)
Materials may not be available for purchase at meeting/workshop, if sold out
