Watercolor & Oil Pastels Artist

Ever since I remember myself I always wanted to be a painter. Yet, my artistic journey has been full of turns, twists and surprises.
I grew up in Eastern Europe, in a family of engineers who shared a deep appreciation for art. My parents collected art books and brought me to museums and gallery openings, even when I protested.
My grandmother, a lawyer by profession, dabbled in art herself and wholeheartedly supported my creativity by proudly displaying my drawings in her living room, inviting a few neighbors for tea and hosting small “art openings”.
In college, I grappled with choosing between painting and a more practical career. I studied drawing, painting, theater design, and art history alongside economics, psychology and social sciences.
After graduation and several years of soul searching, I discovered Art Therapy – a field that brought together my passion in art and helping others. For the past two decades, I have worked in private practice as an Art Therapist. Helping others find meaning and healing through art has been profoundly satisfying.
A few years ago, I made a decision to return to my childhood dream of becoming a painter! I began studying again, taking art classes, painting regularly and immersing myself in the creative process. I am especially drawn to watercolor for its transparency, spontaneity and unique ability to capture fleeting light. Through my work, I aim to unveil the wonder woven into the everyday and share the beauty I see all around me.
