Jessica Moon Bernstein-Schiano uses a wide variety of materials including discarded plastic bags, punctured bicycle inner tubes, paint, found paper and melting ice to create 2D artworks as well as 3D works including art installations. Climate change, the waste stream, and endangered species are various subjects that influence her work and are expressed in her pieces. Through her work, she hopes to inspire and remind audiences of what we have as well as what we stand to lose if we do not take action. Jessica was born in Ohio, spent some time living in Mongolia, and has lived in Colorado for over 30 years. She currently lives in Nederland, Colorado
