I cannot remember a time when I did not draw or paint! When I was a little girl my “happy time” was always with paper, pencil, pen, or paint. My parents and teachers always gave me encouragement – as a result I majored in art in college, then later earned a MA in Counseling.
My career included art instruction, counseling, or administration in high schools, colleges, and mental health agencies. After my retirement from Education in 2002, I finally found time to explore and develop my art skills. I study other artists, try new techniques, and experiment with new subjects. Always trial and error – lots of trial and error!
Painting is my joy.
My work has been selected into over 50 juried regional, national, and international exhibitions.
