BAA Member Fall Exhibit
BAA members are invited to participate in our upcoming Fall Exhibit at R Gallery.

This member exhibit has two parts.

Main Show Exhibit The Main Show will feature choice artwork from BAA Members with an open theme. Artists may submit one or two Main Show pieces. Work will be selected by R Gallery from member submissions.
8×8 Art Wall Theme: Flatirons The Flatirons, with their stunning and iconic rock formations, have long been an emblem of the natural beauty and spirit of Boulder, inspiring artists to create numerous landscapes featuring their distinctive form and structure. How might the Flatirons inspire you? Are you called to create a more traditional landscape, or perhaps to look deeper? Who visits the Flatirons? What creatures live there? Which plants grow there? What is the view from their heights? Let your imagination lead you! All 8×8 submissions will be accepted!

NOTE: Member Artists may pick up an 8×8″ panel to start work for the Fall Show 8×8 theme “Flatirons” starting July 2nd at R Gallery. Registration with title, medium and price is due by or on Sunday, August 20th, 12:00 midnight

Art Details
Main Show Pieces:

Submission fee includes 2 Main Show submissions (and 8×8 piece)
Current 2023 BAA membership required
Open theme: New work encouraged
Due to space, submitted work for the Main Show will be selected by R Gallery..
2D Work Size limit: No larger than 42” height x 36” width.
2D Work must be wired properly for safe & secure display (No claw hooks). For heavier pieces, D hooks and Braided Vinyl coated heavy duty steel wire is encouraged. . BAA And R Gallery are not responsible for damaged artwork due to incorrect hanging materials and mounting of it.
AI generated art is acceptable provided AI is used as a tool to create components of the final artwork rather than the entire completed work. An artist can use AI to manipulate their own works or use AI created parts and incorporate those parts into a finished product. Fully AI created artwork which is generated solely from a prompt will not be accepted.
3D/ Sculptural pieces welcome!
All work must be priced for sale.

8×8” BAA Wall Pieces:

Submission fee includes both 8×8 work and Main Show pieces
Current 2023 BAA membership required
Theme: Flatirons
All 8×8 work will be included for display on the BAA Wall in R Gallery

Art must be created on an 8×8” panel/cradle provided by the BAA (8×8” panels will be available at R Gallery after registration)
No wiring or any other hanging hardware for 8×8”s.
All work must be priced for sale.

Show Details

Submission Fee: $30 (includes 8×8 panel provided by BAA)
Sale commissions: 30% to R Gallery, 10% to BAA, 60% to artist
