BAA is BUZZING with the news of our next member show called “What’s the Buzz?” The month-log July show will be held at our new show gallery “The Gallery at @ the Bus Stop Apartments” located at North Broadway in Boulder.
registration opens May 10th!
Member artists are invited to create two pieces.
1. 8×8 panel inspired by bees: Spread your wings, let your fancy fly, and have fun!
**Note: BAA is not supplying panels. See notes below on where to purchase.
2. Main Showpiece: What’s happening in your world? What inspires, engages, uplifts and/or stirs you? What’s on your mind, personally, locally or globally?
2D and 3D pieces welcome! (No size restrictions, however, please contact us at email@example.com if you are thinking of something “outside the box” so that we may confirm whether or not we can accommodate your piece..)
Registration opens May 10th
Drop off is july 1st from 8-11 a.m.
Registration closes June 13th at midnight
(Fees go towards cash award ribbons, promotional expenses, opening celebration, and more)
Artists must volunteer 3 hours – Volunteer sign-ups will open on may 10th
Opening Artist Reception – Friday, July 1st 6-8 p.m. (NoBo 1st Friday)
8×8 panels must be purchased by artists (See below for panel details)
Main showpieces must have the following;
(Artists must provide display stands for sculptural pieces.)
- Be wired for hanging
- Labeled on the back of the art with:
- Artist name
Do not wire the 8×8″ piece, but please include your name and title on the back.
To help our members get started with the 8×8 “Bee” inspired painting, we’ve put together a few resources on where to buy your panels. Please use 8×8 wood cradled panels less than 1″ thick.
