Everybody has a bit of WILD in them – and what better way to express your wild than through your art? The BAA is excited to announce our first 2025 member exhibit, corresponding with Boulder Arts Week. The BAA will be joining forces with other Wilderness Art Studios artists (and neighboring Boulder School of Fine Arts) for several fabulous Arts Week events with music, art demos, treats and ARTful activities!
In addition to the exhibit, there will be table space for 5 member artists to sell hand-crafted items during the Boulder Arts Week First Friday event! It will be a fun, busy day promoted through Boulder Arts Week for the entire Wilderness artist community and beyond!
Registration opens Monday, January 20, 2025.
Registration closes Saturday, March 8, 2025
Artwork drop off: Sunday, March 23, 2-4pm & Wednesday, March 26, 1-3pm
Artwork pick up: Saturday, May 17, 1-3:30pm

Our In the Wild exhibit has 3 components.
1. Main Show piece inspired by “In the Wild”
2. 8×8” panel/cradle art, inspired by “Wild Things”
3. Boulder Arts Week Events
- Table space (five 36×30” sections for individual artists to sell hand-crafted wares),
- First Friday, April 4, 4:00 – 8:00 pm
- Demos/Activities, First Friday, April 4, 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Artist Trading Cards, Free to be Frida Photos, Community Painting plus live Artist Demos!
- “Spring Sprite” Live Model Sunday, April 6, 2:30 – 5:30pm (Half-Price Event!) Come see what drawing a life model is all about!
- Artist Opening Reception Tuesday, April 8, 6 – 8 pm, Award Ceremony with desserts!
- In Person Artist Roundtable Wednesday, April 9th 6-8 pm, Bring art to share & discuss or simply be part of the conversation!
- Art Materials Swap, Saturday, April 12, 2 – 4:00, Bring art supplies you no longer use & take some you’d like to explore or to add to your collection.
