Join us for a spectacular oil pastel demonstration and hands-on tutorial with Rick Dallago. Guests will follow along as Rick presents the unique self-taught blending technique he uses to paint realistic paintings with oil pastels. Rick will discuss color theory, composition plus share trick & methods that he employs when painting.

The BAA will provide canvas paper prepared for the guided art activity and oil pastels for your use.

Note: This is literally a HANDS-ON event. Expect to get “dirty”! Oil Pastels will wash off with soap and water, available in the gallery, however if you prefer to not use your fingers to blend colors, please bring rubber gloves for your own use.
RICK DALLAGO is film producer & artist. He is currently producing a film about SHARON TATE and is directing the documentary ARIZONA RAISED, which finds the 15 babies cast in the movie “Raising Arizona.” His films include: BLUE CRUSH, CRAZY/BEAUTIFUL, INTO THE BLUE,TURISTAS, CHEATERS and THINGS BEHIND THE SUN– winner of the Peabody & Edgar Allen Poe Awards.
Prior to producing, he worked in various production capacities on FATHER OF THE BRIDES 1 & 2, THE DOORS, CITY SLICKERS 2, BABY BOOM, THE PICKUP ARTIST, ISHTAR, etc.
