BAA 100th Anniversary – Playing with a Full deck

We are thrilled to announce that BAA’s 100th Anniversary Exhibit will be held in OCTOBER at the NoBo Art Center (4929 Broadway unit “E”)! This historic event will align with three art-based non-profits for an unforgettable (and highly trafficked) event.

• NoBo First Friday: October 4th, 6:00 – 9:00 PM  (Visit this LINK to learn more!)

• Open Studios Tours: First 3 weekends of October (5th &6th, 12th & 13th, 119th & 20th,, Noon – 5:00 PM)

• Boulder Art Association Artist Reception: SAT October 12th, 5:00-8:00 PM, Awards 6:00 PM

Given the nature of the show, it’s crucial that all artwork is completed on time for efficient photography and scanning.

Important Deadlines:

• Art Drop Off: SUNDAY, September 8th, 10:00 AM – Noon at the BAA Community Sudio (2810 Wilderness Pl. Suite C – detailed directions below). Artists will be asked to place command strips on the back top and bottom of the completed artwork plus sign the NoBo Agreement

• Digital Imaging & Printing of Cards: September 9th – 30th

• Show Starts: THUR October 3rd

• Sales: 30% to NoBo, 10% to BAA, 60% to artist

• First Friday: FRI October 4th, 6:00 – 9:00 PM

• Artist Reception: SAT October 12th, 5 – 8:00 PM, Awards 6:00 PM

• Open Studios: SAT/SUN October 5th & 6th, 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th (Noon – 5:00 PM)

• Show Ends/Art Pickup:  October 26th,  12:00 – 4:00 PM (Sign out with Pick Up)

• NOTE: We are looking for a second venue for this collection once the NoBo Center exhibit ends. This means the art may move on, rather than be picked up. We’ll let you know! (Prints will be made to fill in for any pieces that sell.)
