The Longmont Museum, housed in a distinctive contemporary building, features changing exhibits in history, art, and science, as well as the award-winning Front Range Rising, a long-term exhibit on the history and culture of this region. The Museum recently opened an expansion, featuring the 250-seat Stewart Auditorium and Cone-Shortall stage, the Swan Atrium, and the Kaiser Permanente Education Center.
The Museum also has hands-on education programs for all ages, indoor and outdoor concerts and performances, film series, lectures and a gift shop featuring local history books, souvenirs and exhibit-related materials.

The Clyfford Still Museum opened in 2011 and is the newest addition to Denver’s burgeoning Cultural Arts District located adjacent to the Denver Art Museum in the city’s Civic Center Cultural Complex. The two-story, 28,500-square-foot building was designed by Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture specifically to display Still’s work. The museum allows visitors the unique experience to understand the legacy of Clyfford Still, an artist whose life has been shrouded in mystery and the bulk of whose work has been hidden from public view for more than 30 years.

Arts & Culture is a division of Thornton Parks, Recreation and Community Programs. It was established in 2006 to offer community-based programs and year-round events in partnership with other city departments and nonprofit organizations. With funding provided by the city, Adams County, and the Scientific Cultural and Facilities District (SCFD), Arts Thornton develops and presents art classes, camps, annual concert series and cultural events, exhibits and public art.
The Thornton Arts & Culture Center (TACC), located at 9209 Dorothy Boulevard, opened in 2011 and is the hub for performing and visual arts in Thornton. Here is where you can view an exhibit in the OZ Gallery, rehearse with the local band or chorus, attend a camp, concert or class, and participate in annual cultural celebrations like Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
