Gail’s Bio:
In high school Gail received a small art scholarship and completed her first year of college as an art major. She put her pursuit of art aside and went on to obtain a BA degree in Business and a MS degree in Environmental Studies. After retiring from a 20+ year career in the Athletic Department at CU Boulder, Gail was called back to her love of the environment and now works with The Nature Conservancy in Boulder. Her desire to paint brought her to explore new mediums in the field of abstract art and Zen painting. Her love of mountains, aspens and dogs are the main inspirations for her recent work. She is on the Board of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley and sells her work to benefit the organization and animal rescue.
