Join BAA at the Denver Botanic Gardens for Calder Monumental

Sunday, September 17th, the Boulder Art Association members and friends will meet at the Denver Botanic Gardens for a docent-guided tour of the Alexander Calder sculpture exhibit, Calder Monumental  (details, schedule, and registration below).

This is a special paid event for BAA members and non-members.  Pre-payment required – attendees cannot be accepted on day of trip.  SORRY, no discounts for Denver Botanic Gardens members.

Calder's sculptures are only on display until September 24th... so come and see them before they are gone!

SCHEDULE (Sunday, September 17th):

9:00 AM - Those interested in carpooling meet at the Meadows Shopping Center (map - Baseline and Foothills) – $1 - 2 suggested gas contribution paid to drivers.   Meet at northeast corner of parking lot (east of Re/Max and FirstBank)
9:10 AM - Depart Meadows Shopping Center – Don't be late! (no refunds, if you don't have a ride)
9:50 AM - Meet outside the main entrance of the Denver Botanic Gardens (map). There is garage parking across York St.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Docent-led tour of Calder Monumental
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Free time to explore the gardens and sculpture on your own
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Enjoy Lunch* and Conversation in the gardens
1:00PM - 1:30PM - Carpools return to Boulder
2:00PM - 2:30PM - Carpools arrive Meadow Shopping Center

*The price does not include lunch, but there are options to purchase food inside the gardens,
or bring your own lunch and picnic in the gardens!
