Art Installation by Janelle Iglesias at CU Art Museum
Janelle Iglesias, the first artist-in-residence at CU-Boulder’s art museum, composed an installation in collaboration with students and faculty, using items from campus collections. Titled Even a Simple Call Can Turn Into a Complex Racket, the result calls to mind Renaissance cabinets of curiosity, updated with industrial shelving and works by Sol LeWitt, Joseph Beuys, and Andy Warhol.
The installation remains on display until July 9, 2016. The CU Art Museum, on the campus of CU-Boulder, is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and stays open until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
